AC Milan launch £15M bid for Lyon defender Cris
tribalfootball.com - February 13, 2006

AC Milan are prepared to offer Lyon £15 million to land Brazilian defender Cris in the summer.
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed a new centre-half is a priority for the close-season transfer window and Cris tops their shopping list.

Milan transfers chief Ariedo Braida watched Cris in action against Bordeaux last week and French sources are indicating a £15 million fee was discussed between the two clubs after the game.

AC Milan supremo Galliani unhappy with Ancelotti's 4-4-2
tribalfootball.com - February 13, 2006

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani admits he's been unhappy with coach Carlo Ancelotti's tactics this season.
After yesterday's win against Reggina, Galliani said: "The rhombus is the better solution. The trainer knows that it does not appeal to me to see him playing 4-4-2.

"As soon as we return to play this type of formation, our results will again slide."

He added: "Inzaghi? He is doing great things. We are well covered in our attacking department."

Juventus coach Capello: Inter Milan has nothing to moan about
tribalfootball.com - February 13, 2006

Juventus coach Fabio Capello insists Inter Milan can have no complaints about yesterday's 2-1 win at the San Siro.

"We played well, were constantly dangerous and were always in the thick of the play. I doubt anyone can question that Juventus deserved the win. This game was open to any result, as these are quality sides who can turn a match at any moment. You can't come to San Siro and defend, as sooner or later you will concede," said Capello.

The Nerazzurri thought they had taken the lead just before the break, but Adriano's goal was disallowed because he scored straight from an indirect free kick.

"The referee clearly had his arm raised, so it was obviously an indirect free kick. We are taught this when we start football training in school," noted Capello.

Alessandro Del Piero came off the bench again to make his mark with a potentially title-winning goal.

"I have the fortune to have players who accept my decisions because they know they are working for the good of the team."

Inter Milan president Facchetti: Juventus deserve leadership
tribalfootball.com - February 13, 2006

Inter Milan president Giacinto Facchetti admits Juventus deserve their Serie A lead after last night's victory at the San Siro.

A sporting Facchetti said after Inter's 2-1 loss: "In the first quarter of the hour Juve were very good, then it looked like an even contest. A draw would have been more just.

"Moreover their goal has come from a set-piece from Del Piero and it's debatable there was a foul on Nedved."

Asked about the infamous 'Battle of the Dossiers', Facchetti replied: "That's all got out of hand. Ten days ago Moggi said that he had collected all the episodes that had seen Inter favoured and of course we had to answer that.

"So, before the game we said we could also produce a dossier on them. It was just something that escalated.

"Juve deserves being at the top in this championship, the refereeing errors perhaps have only made the gap wider."

--------------------
Spalletti: It's Roma or Fiorentina for Champions League
tribalfootball.com - February 13, 2006

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti admits it's a straight shootout between themselves and Fiorentina for the final Champions League place.
After yesterday's 2-0 win at Siena, Spalletti said: "The Champions League spots will be decided by determination and desire, as both Fiorentina and Roma have impressed this term.

"They'll have their season and we'll have ours, so we can only tally up the points at the end."

----------------------------------------------------
Inzaghi delighted with AC Milan hat-trick
tribalfootball.com - February 13, 2006

Pippo Inzaghi was delighted with his hat-trick in AC Milan's 4-1 thumping of Reggina yesterday.
"It was important for us to win tonight," said Inzaghi. "But I must admit I enjoyed the game from a personal point of view. It was good fun.

"I must thank my teammates, who all helped me to score my goals. I think if we play as we know we can, then Milan can recover our lost points and finish the season well."

Serginho: Cris ready for AC Milan move
tribalfootball.com - February 15, 2006

Serginho is convinced Brazil teammate Cris can be successful at AC Milan.
Milan midfielder Serginho is aware that Cris is being tracked by club chiefs leading up to the summer market. Milan transfers chief Ariedo Braida has watched the Lyon centre-half twice in the last month.

"Cris has matured a lot in the last year," said Serginho. "I know he is now ready to make the jump to a difficult competition like the Italian championship."

Juventus chief Giraudo: Ibrahimovic deal agreed
tribalfootball.com - February 15, 2006

Juventus chief Antonio Giraudo has revealed a new contract has been agreed with striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
"When there is something to report, we will announce it, but the fact is we have already found an agreement," said Giraudo

"When there is a will on both parts there is no problem in finding a solution. And in this case the will is there."

Agent confirms AC Milan chief Braida studying Holland market
tribalfootball.com - February 15, 2006

An Italian agent has confirmed AC Milan transfers chief Ariedo Braida is a regular visitor to Holland.
Milan have been linked with PSV Eindhoven defender Alex and also Holland coach Marco van Basten in recent weeks.

Alberto Faccini told calciomercato.com: "I know that Braida often goes to Holland, where between many people there is also Van Basten, who Milan knows.

"I very well do not know if he could be a man for Milan, but I'm sure he wouldn't be a bad influence on the Rossoneri.

Messina - Juventus (Channel4)

Messina will approach this Stadio San Filippo fixture with Juventus knowing that unless they hit top form they could finish the day in the relegation zone.

In the last few weeks pressure on Bortolo Mutti has grown as the home side have slipped towards the danger zone, and there could be no worse side to play for a team in need of quick points to appease the increasingly irate fans.

Last weekend's 4-2 defeat to Sampdoria left the Giallorossi precariously poised above the relegation places and undid much of the good work of the previous three weeks. Losing to Juventus may seem inevitable but Mutti will impress upon his players the need to put in a creditable performance for the home fans - Messina have only won twice at home this season, scoring just 10 goals.

Seemingly invincible, Juventus more-or-less clinched the title with victory in a heated Derby d'Italia that took the Old Lady 12 points clear at the top. Insults and allegations have been traded between Juventus and Inter and Fabio Capello will be keen to silence talk of biased referees and diving with an emphatic win here. Seemingly Alessandro Del Piero is not short of motivation - he has vowed to take his goal tally to 200 before the end of the season.

Antonio Nocerino - who made his debut last weekend against Sampdoria - is likely to feature again as Gaetano D'Agostino remains injured. Mutti is banned from the bench and must manage without first-choice goalkeeper Marco Storari who was dismissed against Sampdoria. Also suspended are Arturo Di Napoli and Giuseppe Sculli who both picked up their fourth bookings against Sampdoria.

Zambrotta-less, Capello must again call on Federico Balzaretti but Robert Kovac is fit again. Injury-prone Jonathan Zebina is again on the treatment table and long-term absentees Alessandro Birindelli and Ruben Olivera remain sidelined. No changes are expected from the side that triumphed in the Derby d'Italia. Given Messina's spirited Week 7 performance resulting in an unlucky 1-0 defeat at the Stadio Delle Alpi, bookmakers have made the Giallorossi a cautious 11/5 to take a point from the champions elect.

Messina: Caglioni; Innocenti, Rezaei, Aronica, Cristante; Antonelli, Nocerino, Donati; Bondi, Muslimovic, Floccari

Juventus: Buffon; Balzaretti, Thuram, Cannavaro, Chiellini; Camoranesi, Emerson, Vieira, Nedved; Trezeguet, Ibrahimovic

Trez suffers ankle injury
Wednesday 15 February, 2006
Juventus star David Trezeguet looks set to miss Saturday’s game with Messina after spraining his ankle during training.

The Frenchman pulled up with the injury during today’s session in Turin and, although club doctors assure it is only a slight sprain, he will not be risked for this weekend’s Serie A encounter.

The medical staff hope to have Trezeguet fit for next week’s Champions League tie with Werder Bremen.

In the meantime, Alessandro Del Piero will be given his opportunity to start alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has recovered from a muscular problem.

Coach Fabio Capello rarely rotates his squad, but with a 12-point lead at the top of the table, he can afford to rest a few players at the Stadio San Filippo.

Fabio Cannavaro has so far been ever-present in Serie A, but looks set to sit this one out for Robert Kovac. Jonathan Zebina is also expected to step in for Federico Balzaretti, while one out of Emerson or Patrick Vieira will also be left on the bench.
---------------------------
Livorno - Inter   (Channel4)

Inter will look to put a miserable fortnight behind them with three points at the Stadio Armando Picchi, but will come up against a resurgent Livorno side full of confidence after a derby victory over Fiorentina.

After Roberto Donadoni's controversial exit, new Livorno boss Carlo Mazzone had the ideal start to his tenure at the Armando Picchi with a 2-0 triumph over Tuscan rivals Fiorentina to end a run of draws. Mazzone - the most experienced Coach in Italian football in his 37th season with his 12th club - knows that he must secure a UEFA Cup place but the 68-year-old tactician may face some dissent in the ranks as rumours suggest that many players were angered at club President Aldo Spinelli's role in Donadoni's departure.

Roberto Mancini's Inter have endured a horrendous spell. After a reverse at the hands of Fiorentina, defeat against Inter in a bitter Derby d'Italia as good as ended the Nerazzurri's slim title aspirations. The Biscioni are now 12 points behind Juventus in Serie A and must now turn their attentions to finishing above Milan.

Mazzone - known as Sor Carletto - has the luxury of an injury-free squad as his side attempt to avenge Week 7's 5-0 trouncing. Mancini, who is suspended and will watch from the stands, must manage without Juan Sebastian Veron who limped off against Juventus, Giuseppe Favalli and Aparecido Cesar who still awaits his Inter debut. Obafemi Martins has returned from Egypt and is once more available to play.

Livorno: Amelia; Grandoni, Vargas, Galante, Balleri; Morrone, Passoni, De Ascentis, Coco, Colucci; Lucarelli

Inter: Julio Cesar; J. Zanetti, Cordoba, Materazzi, Burdisso; Figo, Pizarro, Stankovic, Kily Gonzalez; Martins, Adriano

Ballack heading to Italy (Channel4)
Wednesday 15 February, 2006
Michael Ballack is on his way to Italy after Real Madrid and Manchester United backed out of bids for the German international.

Inter, Juventus and Fiorentina have all been linked with the 29-year-old midfielder, whose contract runs out with Bayern Munich in the summer.

Spanish giants Real Madrid have reportedly ruled out any further interest as they feel that Ballack’s demands are too high and they do not regard him as a Galactico.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have allegedly refused to offer a five-year contract to a player who will be 30 by the time next season starts.

An Italian switch now looks likely and his agent, Michael Becker, has promised a quick solution to the soap opera.

“Michael will announce his intentions very soon,” said the former Bayer Leverkusen star’s representative.

Sampdoria Not For Sale (Goal)

The president of the club denied the media reports.
A surprised Riccardo Garrone categorically denied the news that Sampdoria was up for sale through an official announcement.

“UC Sampdoria Spa announces that President Riccardo Garrone was surprised following the news on the national daily newspaper regarding the sale of the club by the Garrone family. Such news is without any foundation or truth."

Garrone declared that he has no intention of selling the Blucerchiati and that he was not contacted by anyone.

Cordoba Wants Juve Revenge (Goal)

The Colombian defender is hoping to meet the Bianconeri in the next rounds of the Champions League.
Ivan Cordoba is still disappointed following Inter's 2-1 defeat against Juventus last Sunday. For this reason, the Nerazzurro player is dreaming of settling the score with the Bianconeri in a European scenario.

"It would be nice to avenge ourselves in the Champions League. It would serve to give a message to all, including ourselves. We could show that we do not deserve this situation and that between the two teams there isn‘t the difference which has emerged in the two league games.”

Cordoba has not given up hope yet on winning the Scudetto.

“You never know, until the arithmetic won’t say otherwise, we must still feel we’re in the race."

Messina To Give Everything Against Juve (Goal )

The Sicilian side is ready to do its utmost to try and stop the Bianconeri troops.
Messina are preparing to host the league leaders this weekend, and despite the many injuries and suspensions, Coach Bortolo Mutti is still confident that his team can do well.

“We shall try to do our best, even taking into consideration our current situation; I would have liked to play this match with a full squad. We must give everything without thinking about the missing players."

Zebina training clash with Juventus teammate Ibrahimovic
tribalfootball.com - February 19, 2006

The Juventus future of defender Jonathan Zebina remains in serious doubt after he missed yesterday's 2-2 draw with Messina.

The Frenchman is said to be fully fit, but was again overlooked by coach Fabio Capello for Saturday's match.

Zebina upset Juve management at the start of the season by demanding a hefty pay-hike and it's also emerged he recently clashed in training with teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to Virglio Sport.

The defender is becoming more isolated from his teammates and all the signs are that he will leave the defending champs at the end of this season.
---------------------------
Zanetti: Pizarro is the future of Inter Milan
tribalfootball.com - February 19, 2006

Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti says teammate David Pizarro has a long future at the San Siro.

Pizarro has been linked with Fiorentina, but Zanetti insists: "I often speak with David - clearly nobody likes to be outside the team, but he always has behaved in an extremely professional way.

"Unfortunately in his role there are two big players like Cambiasso and Veron, but Veron wants to return to Argentina at the end of the season.

"If that happens, Pizarro will have many more possibilities to play and to demonstrate his value: the future of Inter is him."

AC Milan's Cafu shelves retirement plans
tribalfootball.com - February 19, 2006

AC Milan fullback Cafu has no plans for retirement after undergoing knee surgery.

"After the tempest comes the rainbow," smiled the Milan star who has struggled with fitness worries and his father's illness.

"These last four months have been terrible for me, but these problems have made me stronger. I will take part in my fourth World Cup, but my heart is beating as if it were my first."

There were reports that the Brazilian would end his career at Sao Paolo, but the 34-year-old has no intention of hanging up his boots yet.

This week Milan doctor Massimiliano Sala stated that the former Roma man can play another eight years considering his overall fitness levels.

"It's good to have this constitution. How about I play another decade instead of just eight years?" he joked.

Cafu went under the knife in Rio de Janeiro to correct a knee problem, but also had surgery on his nose and throat to ease his breathing.

"I am now a new man and soon I will be able to literally fly on the football field!"

Capello furious with Juventus defence
tribalfootball.com - February 19, 2006

Juventus were held 2-2 by Messina after having Fabio Cannavaro sent-off yesterday.

Two goals from Sergio Floccari earned Messina a share of the spoils, the first stunning Juve in the third minute while the latter came just before the end of the match after Zlatan Ibrahimovic and an Adrian Mutu penalty had given the league leaders a 2-1 advantage.

The dismissal of Fabio Cannavaro at the start of the second half did little to help Juve either, although they remain 12 points clear at the top of the standings after nearest challengers Internazionale were also held to a draw at Livorno.

Messina, on the other hand, are still a worrying 15th in the 20-team table and only two points above the relegation zone.

Juve coach Fabio Capello blasted his defence after the final whistle.

"Our opponents played very aggressive football and rarely this season have I seen strikers with such great movement off the ball. Having said that, Messina's second goal made me absolutely furious," said Capello.

"We created a great deal and went well even after Cannavaro's dismissal, but I just cannot get over that goal."
-----------------------------
Donadoni: My problems with president, not Livorno players
tribalfootball.com - February 19, 2006

Axed Livorno coach Roberto Donadoni insists he had a strong relationship with the players.

Donadoni left Livorno earlier this month amid reports of falling out with senior players and president Aldo Spinelli. But he insisted yesterday: "I had built a strong relationship with the players, including with Lucarelli, who has great human qualities.

"I thought I had the confidence of the club, that has every right to criticize the job of a trainer. But I felt betrayed by president Spinelli.

"The fact is that mutual confidence is the most important thing between a coach and his president."

Kaka: I want to win Champions League for AC Milan icon Maldini
tribalfootball.com - February 20, 2006

Kaka has declared he wants to win the Champions League this season for AC Milan captain Paolo Maldini.

The Brazilian said: "We are far from Juve in the championship, but ready in order to win the Champions League and make up for what happened last year against Liverpool.

"Now, we have found again the joy of playing. Unfortunately, we are forced to play without our symbol Maldini, I want to win something of importance at his side, but I know well that there won't be many opportunities to do so with his career not nearing its end."

Kaka also said: "I hope to convince our Brazil coach, Carlos Parreira, to take Serginho with us to the World Cup."

Trezeguet insists no problems with Juventus pals Ibra, Del Piero
tribalfootball.com - February 20, 2006

David Trezeguet insists there are no problems between himself and fellow strikers Alessandro del Piero and Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Juventus.

Three into two doesn't go for coach Fabio Capello's attacking formation, but Trezeguet says: "There are no problems with Del Piero and Ibrahimovic.

"Whoever is in form and scoring goals will play. We all know and accept this."

He added: "This is the year we can win the Champions League. We have the team to do it."

Fiorentina's Bojinov: I've learned my lesson
tribalfootball.com - February 20, 2006

Fiorentina striker Valeri Bojinov has vowed to show fans his commitment to the club after scoring in yesterday's 2-1 defeat by Lazio.

The Bulgarian ran foul of Fiorentina management last month as he chased a move to Bayern Munich, but last night declared: "I know I was mistaken. Now I am a serious professional and I will not commit such errors of that type again.

"I want to grow and to become a champion like Sheva, Inzaghi or Gilardino. I also want to be like Luca Toni, who scores great goals."

Ibrahimovic to be offered £20M Juventus contract
tribalfootball.com - February 21, 2006

Juventus are ready to reward Zlatan Ibrahimovic with a new contract worth a mega £4 million-a-year.

Juve chief Luciano Moggi intends to open formal discussions with 'Ibragol's' agent, Mino Raiola, after the Champions League tie against Bayern Munich - so bringing forward previous April plans.

Ibrahimovic is contracted to Juve until 2008, but his £1.1 million-a-year deal is low for a player of his status and has alerted the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid to his possible availability.

Moggi aims to end all speculation over Ibra's future with a new £20 million deal which will keep the Swede at Juve until 2011.

The agreement will make Ibrahimovic the highest paid player at the club alongside Alessandro Del Piero.

Kaka urges Ballack to join AC Milan
tribalfootball.com - February 21, 2006

Kaka has urged Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Ballack to join him at AC Milan next season.

Ballack is a Bosman target for some of Europe's biggest clubs and Brazil international Kaka said: "Michael appeals a lot to me and I would happily play with him.

"He's an intelligent player, possesses an excellent technique. He's a champion who would go well at Milan."

Volpato's Dream: I Want To Be Like Del Piero

The former Padova player admires the Juve legend.
Rej Volpato recalled last Sunday's special day where he scored a brace at Udine to award Siena with the win. "I prefer the second goal: it was a bit more difficult, I made the right movement on Locatelli's assist. I'm happy."

Two words on his short career: “I grew up at Padova and I can assure you that you can still breathe Alex’s name there. For them, for us, he is something extraordinary. For me he’s an example to follow. Better still, a dream.”

“Here at Siena I must thank De Canio who believed in me, who gave me, and still does, important suggestions. And especially he gave me the space to emerge.”

Mancini Defends Adriano

According to the Inter coach, the 2-match suspension inflicted to Adriano was unjustified.
An angry Roberto Mancini commented the outcome of the video evidence against the Brazilian striker, which saw his star player being given a 2-game ban for slapping an opponent.

“It’s not fair that Adriano must miss two matches and has no fault. Stankovic’s suspension against Cagliari was ok, but Saturday’s episode at Livorno was not for video evidence.”

Mancini’s focus now is on tonight’s match against Ajax in the Champions League.

“We shall have to play a very attentive match because Ajax, when they attack, are a great team. They have an ample squad and even though they will miss some players, they will not feel them."

AC Milan's Ancelotti plays down Gattuso blow-up
tribalfootball.com - February 22, 2006

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has played down midfielder Rino Gattuso's show of emotion after he was substituted in the final five minutes of last night's 1-1 draw at Bayern Munich.

After being angrily confronted by Gattuso, Ancelotti invited the midfielder to sit with him for the final minutes of the game so he could explain why he was taken off.

Later, Carletto explained: "He was just frustrated with the way things were going. He was not angry with anything in particular.

"I was a player and I understand that moments can arise when you are not in control of your emotions. Everything is fine with him."

6yr Italy deal for Juventus chief Moggi
tribalfootball.com - February 22, 2006

The Italian FA are ready to table Juventus director general Luciano Moggi a bumper six-year contract.

Moggi's Juve deal expires at the end of this season and he is still to open formal discussions about staying on in Turin.

Regarded as the best GM in European football, Moggi has been linked with AC Milan and Inter, but it's emerged he is wanted by the Italian federation to take charge of the national team setup for two European Championships and the 2010 World Cup.

Galliani: Milan’s Door Open To Ronnie (Goal)

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has hinted that the club may move for Ronaldo if he decides to leave Real Madrid in the summer.
The Brazilian has suggested that he could move on, claiming that he does not receive enough affection from the Real fans.

“He is a great striker who belongs to all of football and I’m sure that if he decides to move then he’ll find open doors at all clubs in the world,” Galliani told Sky Italia. “Milan too? Of course.”

While Real lost 1-0 to Arsenal in the Champions League on Tuesday night, Milan drew 1-1 away to Bayern Munich.

Thieves Take Hold Of Messina-Juve Ticket Sales  (Goal)
A group of thieves became rich on the night transforming Sunday into Monday after they stole the ticket sales from the Messina-Juventus match.
The loot the robbers took home was worth around 300,000 Euros, and took place inside the club headquarters situated in an area that is deserted at night.

According to the investigators the gang of criminals knew the area well, as they completed their mission without leaving one trace.

The game saw Messina hold mighty Juventus to a 2-2 draw thanks to two goals by young forward Floccari (depicted in the picture).

Juventus - Lecce     (Channel4)

This David and Goliath encounter at the Stadio Delle Alpi looks like a forgone conclusion, but Lecce have often been at their best against top quality opposition and Fabio Capello will urge his side to avoid complacency.

Juventus appear to have the Scudetto wrapped up but have finally shown signs of vulnerability of late. The Old Lady could only draw 2-2 with Messina last weekend and although they remain 10 points clear at the top of Serie A, they cannot afford to slacken their pace given Milan's recent form. While Emerson admitted that the Bianconeri's priority is the Champions League, Coach Capello is insistent that the Scudetto is not yet over and will accept nothing less than an emphatic win.

Time is running out for Roberto Rizzo's Lecce side. The Giallorossi have performed impressively in recent weeks but have only managed draws and haven't won in 11 outings. If Rizzo is to pull off a great escape he needs his side to start taking maximum points, there could hardly be a worse time to meet the Champions elect. The odds are truly stacked against Rizzo's men - Lecce have only scored six goals away from Via Del Mare this season.

These two sides have a recent history of goal-fests. While Juventus will be aiming to repeat last season's 5-2 victory, the Salentini can take heart from 2004's amazing 4-3 triumph at the Stadio Delle Alpi.

Capello has few selection problems. Fabio Cannavaro is suspended. Gianluca Pessotto is ready to return if Federico Balzaretti or Giorgio Chiellini fail to shake off knocks. Jonathan Zebina will not feature amidst Press speculation that he may leave Turin. Gianluca Zambrotta is still out of action.

Gennaro Delvecchio has flu and is unavailable for Lecce. Alfonso Camorani is still out as is Tiziano Polenghi and Luca Saudati. Erminio Rullo is ready to play again and Giuseppe Cozzolino is fit after spending the week with Italy's Under-20 squad in Germany.

Juventus: Buffon; Balzaretti, Kovac, Thuram, Chiellini; Camoranesi, Vieira, Emerson, Nedved; Ibrahimovic, Trezeguet

Lecce: Benussi; Camisa, Saidi, Diamoutene, Rullo; Giacomazzi, Giorgino, Marianini, Cassetti; Cozzolino, Vucinic

Em biết rằng rồi anh sẽ quên em
Cái gì thoáng qua mấy ai còn đọng lại
Cho dù với em đó sẽ là mãi mãi
Anh bận lòng chi với một kẻ qua đường...
