AC Milan try again for Lazio's Oddo
tribalfootball.com - March 22, 2006
AC Milan have reopened talks with Lazio for fullback Massimo Oddo.
The Italy international is a former Milan trainee and is expected to be sold by Lazio at the end of this season after slamming the management of president Claudio Lotito.
It's emerged this week that Milan, which tried for Oddo in January, have begun new talks with his representatives and the Rome club about summer switch.

AC Milan agree terms with Palermo's Barzagli
tribalfootball.com - March 22, 2006
AC Milan have reportedly struck personal terms with Palermo defender Andrea Barzagli.
Sticking with Milan's philosophy of targeting Italian talent, it emerged yesterday that Barzagli's representatives have reached an agreement with vice-president Adriano Galliani.
Milan still must settle on a free with Palermo, however, with the defender contracted to the Sicilians until 2010.

Juventus - Roma (Channel4)
While Juventus seem to be calmly cruising to the Scudetto, Roma will be desperate to avenge Week 12's 4-1 humbling and to capture three vital points in the race for Champions League football.
A 10 point lead at this stage in the season as good as guarantees that the Scudetto will be in the Old Lady's hands. With the exception of Fiorentina in Week 33, this is the hardest test left for the Bianconeri and a win here would allow Fabio Capello's men to focus on the Champions League campaign. This fixture always has a special significance for Capello who spent five successful seasons at Roma, winning the Scudetto there in 2001.
Last weekend's 2-1 win over Messina ended a brief slump for the Giallorossi. After a record-breaking run of 11 consecutive wins took Luciano Spalletti's side into contention for the fourth Champions League place, the capital side went out of the UEFA Cup to Middlesbrough then lost to minnows Ascoli. Spalletti will need his men to play out of their skins here, but will know even a point may prove the difference between UEFA Cup and Champions League football next season.
This may prove to be a tight contest. While Juventus have the best defensive record on home soil having conceded only five goals at the Stadio Delle Alpi, Roma's defence is the meanest on the road with only 10 goals conceded away from the Stadio Olimpico.
Ex-Roma defender Jonathan Zebina is ruled out with a big toe injury, but Capello's only other injury worry is Alessandro Del Piero who has been with a physio for most of the week's training sessions.
Spalletti has greater concerns. Daniele De Rossi - who won plaudits for admitting to handball instead of claiming a goal against Messina last weekend - has an ankle injury and won't feature. Cristian Chivu is still sidelined with a knee injury picked up against Middlesbrough. Shabani Nonda, Vincenzo Montella and Francesco Totti are out limiting striking options and reserve goalkeeper Alexander Doni is also injured. Honduran Edgar Alvarez is likely to receive another chance to impress.
