Capello, Triade set for Juventus stay

Juventus are set to announce in February that the famous 'Triade' and coach Fabio Capello will be staying with the club.
Directors Roberto Bettega, Luciano Moggi and Antonio Giraudo are all set to have their contracts renewed, with Capello also signing a new deal beyond 2007. Capello's agreement will include greater responsibility in the transfer market.
The Juve coach stated last month that he could be forced to leave the club if the 'Triade' was broken up by the board.

AC Milan chiefs ready to bid for Chelsea's Terry

AC Milan are being linked with Chelsea defender John Terry.
Milan chiefs Ariedo Braida and Adriano Galliani are seeking a young centre-half with Jaap Stam likely to be on his way at the end of the season and Paolo Maldini struggling with injury.
Galliani is taking advantage of Milan's good relationship with Chelsea, thanks to the loan deal for Hernan Crespo, to sound out the London giants about Terry's availability.
The Blues captain is a required player at Stamford Bridge, though Milan haven't been shy in splashing out big on defenders - as they did two years ago for Alessandro Nesta.

Mancini: Inter Milan coming together

Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini says their Serie A campaign is now starting to come together.
After Sunday's 4-0 win at Reggina, Mancini declared: "Inter is coming together well, now that we have recovered Zanetti and Stankovic and Figo is getting used to a different championship from the Spanish, we can find also more consistency.
"Now it is fundamental not to make a mistake with Empoli before the recess.
"Juve? 10 points or 8 does not change much, we must continue and hope that Juve slows down.
"Until now Juve have been excellent, but things can change."

Galliani: AC Milan balls just right for Pirlo

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has revealed the secret of Andrea Pirlo's superb free-kicks - the balls they use at the Milanello training HQ.
"For a long time he's always been able to score at home because he has trained with our footballs," revealed Galliani. "Now he's also working with various weights from other balls.
"He has trained also with different footballs, such as the one from Inter, but it did not have the same affect. Our fortune is that also in the World Cup we will use that same football."

AC Milan supremo Berlusconi admits Moggi, Van Basten admiration

AC Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi admits he'd love to bring Marco van Basten to the club.
Former Milan star Van Basten will lead Holland into next year's World Cup and Berlusconi declared: "I would love him here, but we have never tried for him.
"We are happy with Carlo Ancelotti."
Celebrating 20 years with Milan, Berlusconi also admitted his admiration for Juventus director general Luciano Moggi.
"Moggi is the best," declared Berlusconi. "But we have never spoken about him coming here."

Juventus - Siena ----------Channel4
Juventus dropped points for only the second time this season in last Saturday's draw with Lazio and will not expect to have the same kind of problems against struggling Siena at the Stadio Delle Alpi. The visitors have shown little to suggest that they can follow in Milan's footsteps and will need to dig deep to cause any problems for Fabio Capello's men.
Siena boss Gigi De Canio has always made it clear that his aim for the season is only survival and, despite a promising start, it looks like the expected relegation dogfight is beginning. The Tuscan side have only won once in six games after a very late Parma equaliser denied them a much-needed win in Week 16 and club President Paolo De Luca has started to show signs of discontent. De Canio will not expect a point but will hope his side can trouble the hosts enough to impress his employer. Three players who will not lack motivation are Nicola Legrottaglie, Matteo Paro and Daniele Gastadello who all arrived from Turin in the summer.
Capello was left to rue the Lilian Thuram error that cost his side victory at the Stadio Olimpico last Saturday and will not accept any such defensive lapses jeopardising his side's perfect home record. David Trezeguet will be relishing the chance to menace Siena's leaky defence after taking his total to 14 goals with his eighth goal in as many games in the draw with Lazio. Last season's two meetings between the two sides both finished 3-0 in favour of Juventus and Capello will be looking for a similar result to confirm his side's winter supremacy.
Capello is still without the injured Emerson and Gigi Buffon who will probably be sidelined until mid-January while Adrian Mutu is doubtful. Gianluca Falsini is still suspended for Siena and is joined by Simone Vergassola.

Milan plan new stadium ----Channel4

Milan chief Adriano Galliani has confirmed that his club plan to leave the San Siro in favour of moving to their own stadium.
The Rossoneri chief has threatened to find his outfit a new home in the past and he’s now insisted that they have taken the first steps to building a brand new arena.
"Milan are seriously working towards constructing a stadium which will be based on the Schalke Arena in Germany," he stated. "We are only at the beginning, but we are serious."
Milan currently share the legendary Stadio Giuseppe Meazza with Inter, but Galliani maintains that leaving the San Siro is a must for the future.
"There is nowhere in the world where two such important clubs share a stadium," he continued.
"We really need one each. What will Inter do? They will build their own or decide to stay at the San Siro."
Galliani also admitted that it would make financial sense, especially given the lucrative naming rights market.
"The name of the stadium will be given to a sponsor," he underlined. "We will follow the examples set in Germany, England and America."
One of the major criticisms labelled at their current home is the poor state of the San Siro turf.
That has led to suggestions that an artificial surface would be introduced in the future, but Galliani ruled out such an option if the Rossoneri do move to a new address.
"I think natural turf would be much better," he noted. "They tried artificial surfaces in American football, yet they are now reverting back to the natural stuff."
Milan seem to have decided to follow in the footsteps of Juventus, who are set to start a revamp of their Stadio Delle Alpi in the summer of 2006.

Di Canio handed salute ban ---------Channel4

Paolo Di Canio’s controversial Roman salute has cost the Lazio player a one-match ban and a hefty fine.
The Italian Disciplinary Commission decided to hand the player a suspension, plus a £7,000 penalty, following his second such gesture in the space of two games.
Di Canio caused uproar eight days ago when he inflamed an already heated encounter at Livorno, before mirroring his actions at home to Juventus on Saturday.
The former Premiership star will therefore miss Wednesday’s match at Serie A strugglers Lecce.
Eleven other players will miss the Week 17 schedule. They are: Ferri (Palermo), Mauri (Udinese), Felipe (Udinese), Sicignano (Lecce), Conti (Cagliari), Cordoba (Inter), Galeoto (Treviso), Gasbarroni (Sampdoria), Nedved (Juventus), Volpi (Sampdoria), Vergassola (Siena).
