Underfire Inter Milan striker Adriano has again apologised for the controversy he has created in recent weeks.
He caused controversy and was publicly taken down a peg by Juan Sebastian Veron after he took an extra three days to return from international duty, then turned up an hour late for Friday's training session amid reports he had been out dancing the night before.
"I analysed this difficult time with President Giacinto Facchetti and made him a promise: I want to find my form as soon as possible so that I can help Inter which, recently, I have been unable to do," he told the official club website.
"I promised President Facchetti that I will do what the club, the Coach, my team-mates and the fans ask of me.
"When I renewed my contract with Inter, I made a precise choice, because I want to win and continue to grow both as a player and a man."

"I cannot deny that Capello has been a very important Coach for my career and I must recognise that. At the same time, I have great faith in Luciano Spalletti."

Juventus coach Capello holds players meeting
tribalfootball.com - November 1, 2005
Juventus coach Fabio Capello held a players' meeting on Sunday to review the previous evening's defeat at AC Milan.

While goalkeeper Antonio Chimenti put his hands up for Andrea Pirlo's strike, Capello also criticised David Trezeguet and Gianluca Pessotto for failing to shut the midfielder down.
The Juve coach went into detail on how all three goals were conceded and while calm with his criticism, did not pull punches when addressing his highly paid stars.
Meanwhile, Juve's technical team are slightly concerned that Capello's players are beginning to show signs of fatigue after the failures against Milan and Bayern Munich last month.

Juventus director general Luciano Moggi believes Saturday's defeat at AC Milan could be the best thing for his team.
"Losing 3-1 will be good for us," said Moggi. "Losing 1-0 would have been worse. That wouldn't have demanded as big a reaction from the players.
"The loss would not have been a drama. But now our players are angry and will be motivated to do better."
