The Federal Court of Appeal has returned Fiorentina and Lazio to Serie A, while cut the points penalties for Juventus and Milan.
The Calciopoli appeal verdicts were finally delivered this evening with all four of the convicted clubs being handed reductions on their initial sentences.
Juventus have remained in Serie B but will start the 2006-07 season with a 17-point deduction rather than the initial 30 imposed.
The appeal panel also confirmed that they would be stripped of their last two Scudetto titles won in 2005 and 2006.
Lazio have been reinstated to the top flight after initially being thrown into the Second Division. They will start the new campaign with an 11-point penalty.
Fiorentina have followed them back into Serie A even if they will start the 2006-07 First Division campaign with a 19-point handicap.
Milan, who remained in Serie A anyway, will now start the new season with an 8-point deficit rather than the 15 imposed by the CAF court.
The Rossoneri, initially stripped of their Champions League place, will return to the competition even if they will have to play in the preliminaries.
That’s because their 44-point penalty from last season has been reduced to 30 which means they would have finished third behind Inter and Roma, while ahead of Chievo.
Palermo, Livorno and Parma are now set to take the UEFA Cup places.

Juventus vẫn phải xuống Serie B nhưng số điểm trừ chỉ còn là -17. Lazio và Fiorentina được ở lại Serie A và chỉ bị trừ 11 và 19 điểm. Còn Milan cũng chỉ bị trừ 8 điểm. Sau nhiều ngày tranh tụng căng thẳng, Toà phúc thẩm đã công bố bản án với mức độ xử phạt được giảm nhẹ đi rất nhiều so với bản án sơ thẩm. Theo đó, Fiorentina và Lazio được quyền ở lại Serie A, còn số điểm bị phạt của Juventus và Milan cũng được rút ngắn.
Juventus sẽ vẫn phải xuống hạng Serie B, nhưng số điểm mà họ bị trừ ở mùa giải 2006-07 sẽ chỉ còn là 17 điểm so với 30 điểm như bản án sơ thẩm. Toà án cũng xác nhận sẽ tước bỏ 2 Scudetto gần nhất mà Juventus đoạt được ở mùa giải 2005 và 2006. Lazio đã được trở lại Serie A sau khi bị bản án sơ thẩm giáng xuống Serie B và họ sẽ bắt đầu mùa giải mới với số điểm là -11. Giống như Lazio, Fiorentina cũng được trở lại Serie A, nhưng bị trừ 19 điểm.
Trong khi đó, Milan, đội bóng duy nhất được ở lại Serie A theo bản án sơ thẩm, giờ chỉ còn bị trừ 8 điểm ở mùa giải mới. Trước đó, Milan đã bị cấm tham dự Champions League, nhưng nay họ đã được trở lại giải đấu này, nhưng phải bắt đầu từ vòng sơ loại.
Sở dĩ như vậy là vì án phạt trừ 44 điểm ở mùa giải năm ngoái của Milan đã giảm xuống còn trừ 30 điểm, tức là Milan đứng ở vị trí thứ 3 chung cuộc, sau Inter và Roma, nhưng xếp trên Chievo.
